Interactive maps on your website can be a great tool to make your website look more modern and allow a great visual tool to make it easier for new parents to find where you are. To add to this, it's easier to do than you would think.
First, go to edit the page on your website that you wish to have the map on.
Now, in a new tab, go to Google Maps.
In the search field, find your school and press Enter to run the search.
This will then bring up an information bar on the left. On here, click Share.
This will open a pop up on your screen. On here, click on Embed a Map.
Now click on Copy HTML.
Next, go back to your CMS to edit the page. Then click on the Plus icon to the right of where you want the map to appear.
In the field that appears, search for Custom HTML and click the icon to add the module.
In the module that appears, paste in the HTML that was copied from Google Maps.
Note: This code will be different for everyone so please ensure you get the code for your school.
The press Update in the top right.
You will now have a live, interactive map on your website.
Should you wish to change the size of this, within the code you added, there are 2 parts labelled Height and Width. You can change the numbers here to your liking.
Note: If you wish for the map to fit across the page, change the numbers to 100%.
