Note: If you have a Wordpress website, please install the Weduc plugin. The instructions in this guide will then be exactly the same for you. To install the plugin, click here.
Accessing the Digital Library
The first step here will be to login to your Weduc account. Once here, click on the Digital Library icon.
Next, double click on the schools name on the left hand side.
Creating a Folder
Next, click the icon in the top right to create a new folder.
You will then receive a small pop up. In the field provided, type in the name of the page this will be linked to on your website. (ie. School Policies).
Then click Create.
Next, click on the folder once and you will see a circle appear with 3 dots.
Click the 3 dots to reveal the menu. Then select Share.
This will then generate another pop up window.
Under Add to Group and Add to Roles, select School Website.
Now, under both Permissions boxes, select all of the permissions available.
Now click on Save Changes.
You'll then see a small box in the bottom right confirming the save has been successful.
Adding the Documents
Now, double click the folder to open it. This area will be empty.
From here, you can either drag and drop the files you require or simply click the Upload File option in the top right.
If you click Upload File, you will receive the below pop up.
Under Title, give the document a name.
Next, click Add File. This will then open your local File Explorer so that you can find and upload the document.
Then click on Upload.
Your document will then appear in the folder.
Repeat for all other documents.
Linking to the Website
Now, access your Website CMS account and go to edit the page you wish to add the documents to.
Go to where you wish to add the documents and click on the plus icon to the right.
In the search box that appears, search for Shortcode and click the option to add that field.
In the field that appears, type in [weduc_webdrive folder="
Next, go back to your folder on Weduc and look into the web address bar. You will see a series of numbers. We need to select and copy just the numbers.
Note: This series of numbers is a unique ID and is different for every folder you create.
Paste those numbers into the Shortcode feature after everything we have entered so far.
Now, finish this off by typing "] after the numbers with no spaces.
Now simply click Update in the top right.
All documents will now automatically appear on this page where you have added the Shortcode. These will be sorted into Alphabetical order automatically for you based on the document title as it appears in Weduc itself.
If you add new documents to this folder later, they will automatically add to this page, you will not need to do anything else unless you want to change the folder that is linked.
