You can control how students' behaviour information is displayed on the app to Parents. This feature allows you to customise and preview the type of information that parents will see regarding their child's behaviour. For example, you may want to hide the identity of the staff member that issued a detention, to protect them from potential harassment, so this piece of information can be hidden from parents.
Users can either be given access to the 'Detailed View' or the 'Summary View' for Positive Behaviour, Negative Behaviour or Detentions.
The Detailed View allows a user to see all recorded behaviour information and cannot be customised. The Summary View can show all of the same information as the Detailed View, but can be customised to limit the information displayed.
Access to these two views is set by Role permissions, so the Detailed View role permission would typically be enabled for for relevant staff roles such as Teacher, Senior Leadership Team Member, School Administrator and SENCO, and the Summary View would typically be enabled for the Parent / Carer role.
To check if a Role can see the Summary View or the Detailed view, follow the instructions from the heading: Check to see if a Role has the Summary View or Detailed View enabled.
To enable these permissions for a Role, follow the instructions from the heading: Enable the Detailed or Summary View permission for a role
