When you have new starters, the last thing you want is delays in being able to contact them however, there are a list of things that need to be correct in the MIS in order for them to import into ReachMoreParents, regardless of whether they are a Parent, Student or Staff Member.
Note: Manually creating users is never advised in this case and instead, recommended against. Please use this guide if someone has not imported and contact support if this guide does not help.
Student
1. Does the child have a valid Forename and Surname in the correct fields? - If not, please fill both fields out.
2. If the child has preferred Names, are these filled out in both Forename and Surname fields? - If not, please correct so this both fields are filled out.
3. Does the student have a parent email address on their record instead of their parents? - If so, please remove this.
4. Is the child's date of admission before today? - If not, the student will not import until their Date of Admission has been reached
5. Is the child admitted in your MIS or still in the pre-admissions group? - If not, they will not be imported.
Parent/Carer
1. Does the parent/carer have a valid forename and surname in the correct fields? - If not, please correct this.
2. Does the parent have a valid link to their child in your MIS? - If not, please correct this
3. Does the parent have a valid email address with no spaces, that is not shared with another parent? - Emails must be space free and be unique per parent. They cannot be shared.
4. Has the parent got Parental Responsibility ticked in the MIS on their relationship link with the child? - We do not import any parent/carer contact that does not have Parental Responsibility for a child for Child Safeguarding reasons.
5. Has the parent got a Court Order anywhere on the MIS? - We do not import any parent/carer contact that has a Court Order against them for Child Safeguarding purposes.
6. Does the parent have any children at any other school? - If so, please contact the Weduc Support Team for assistance.
Staff Members
1. Do they have a valid Forename and Surame in the correct fields in the MIS? - If not, please correct this.
2. Do they have a valid email address, that is not used on any other account, on their record? - Emails must be unique and are a required field for a ReachMoreParents account to be created.
3. Does the new member of Staff have a valid contact Start Date before today? - We will only import staff once they have officially started their role at the school for Child Safeguarding purposes.
4. Has the new member of Staff got a Contract End Date on their MIS record? - End Dates should not be added till the day of or day after a member of staff terminates their employment.
