A task that most schools must complete daily is producing a report that shows what each student or staff member will be eating that day. This helps kitchen staff allocate meals to the right people.
In this report, you can see who is having a school meal, packed lunch or off site meal. If you use an advanced meal plan, the report will also show which menu choice was selected for a school meal.
You can also export this report to excel so it can be emailed or printed off for the kitchen staff.
Follow the below instructions to produce this report.
1) Log in to ReachMoreParents.
2) Click on your name in the top right hand corner.
3) Click Reporting.
4) Click Meals Reporting.
5) The report you need is Dining Preferences. This should open automatically when you access the Meals Reporting.
6) Click BY USER.
7) Click Submit.
8) Click Export as Excel.
9) Click Download.
10) Open Excel Spreadsheet
Column A contains the date.
Column B contains the User's name. This could be a Student or Staff Member, depending on who has a meal plan available to them.
Column C contains the Registration Group.
Column D contains the Meal Choice. This is a choice between Packed Lunch, School Meal or Off Site.
Column E contains the Menu Items. This is only applicable for advanced meal plans, where a school meal has been ordered. This shows the specific item(s) on the menu that has been selected.
Column F contains the Order Status. Incomplete typically means no order has been placed. It could also mean that only part of an order has been placed (for instance if it's mandatory to order both a main course and pudding but only the main course has been ordered). Unpaid means an order has been placed but not yet paid for. Completed means an order has been placed and paid for. No Action Required means either the Meal Choice has been set to Packed Lunch or Off site.
*If you run this report for a date range in the past, Completed orders will show as No Action Required.
*Please note, that if your school does not charge for meals via ReachMoreParents, either because the school charges for meals via a separate payments system or doesn't charge for meals at all, then all Unpaid orders will show as Completed.
11) Either attach the spreadsheet to an email, or print off for kitchen staff.
