Accessing sQuid Payments

Payments Purses
If you are a parent that has been instructed to make a payment via sQuid Payments on the ReachMoreParents app, you will need to know about payment purses.
Each of your children will have their own payment purse or set of payment purses.
Which of these purses appear is dependent on how your school is using sQuid Payments.
If your school is using sQuid Payments to process Meal Payments, you will have a Meal Order Purse.
If your school is using sQuid Payments to take payments for Offers (School trips, school uniform etc.) or Bookings (Clubs) you will have an Online ePayments Purse.
Typically, you can top up these purses so that those funds can be used to purchase either Meals, Offers or Bookings.
Some schools restrict your ability to top up Online ePayments Purses, because the payment for an Offer or Booking should be paid directly from a card payment, saving you an extra step of topping up the purse. In this instance, the purse will only contain funds if you have been provided a refund. These funds can then be withdrawn from the purse.
To withdraw the balance on your purse, instructions can be found here: How do I withdraw the balance on my sQuid account?
Payments Options
Card Payment
This is the most common form of payment as it takes the least amount of steps. The process requires you to find an item that you would like to purchase, add that item to your basket and enter your card details at the checkout. This is the same process that you would expect to see in any online store such as Amazon.
Top Up
Topping up a purse requires you to enter the amount you wish to top up the purse by, click add to basket and pay at the checkout. Full instructions can be found here: Topping up my child's account.
Auto Top Up
An Auto Top Up charges your payment card automatically to top up your purse on a scheduled basis to ensure you don't have to keep logging in and topping up manually. This is the same principle as having a direct debit or standing order. This feature is only applicable for school meals and therefore can only be set up on a Meal Order Purse. To set up an Auto Top Up, full instructions can be found here: Topping up my child's account
If you wish to disable an auto top up, instructions can be found here: How can I cancel an Auto Top Up?
Transaction History
You can see and download a record of every transaction for each payment purse. Full instructions can be found here: How can I view my transaction history?
Offers (School Trips) Payments
Offers are typically used for school trips, but they can be used for most things your school might want to sell such as school uniform, stationery, tickets for school plays and more. If you're not sure how to purchase an offer, instructions can be found here: How do I pay for Trips/Offers?
Club Bookings
Bookings are typically used for clubs such as breakfast club or after school clubs. If you're not sure how to book a club, instructions can be found here: How do I book my child onto Clubs
