First, login to your website CMS (Content Management System). For assistance, click here.
Next, click on Users on the left hand menu.
Now, select Add New at the top of your screen.
You will now see the Add New User Screen.
Start by first adding a Username. This must contain no spaces and all be lowercase, we advise the users first name and surname (ie. John Smith's username would be johnsmith)
Next, enter in their Email Address. We recommend always ensuring to use their work email address, never a personal one.
Now you want to set their Role.
You have 5 options here, simply select the one you need;
Subscriber - Read ONLY
Contributor - Can only edit the sections your mark them as a Contributor for
Author - Can only edit pages they are specifically marked as the Author of.
Editor - Can edit any page but not any main website settings
Administrator - Can edit and amend everything and anything
Skip the next section to Skip Confirmation Email as you will want your new user to receive this email.
Now click on Add New User at the bottom.
Your new user will now receive an email containing a link. They simply need to click this link and create a password. Once done, they can then login to your website.
